Bruce D. Prizant
Bruce graduated with his undergraduate degree from University of Louisville in 1969 with a B.S. in Commerce. He then attended lawschool at U. of L., graduating in the spring of 1972 and was sworn in to practice in the fall of 1972. Since then, Bruce has built a solid practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law, personal injury and general civil litigation.
Bruce is a staunch advocate for children and families involved in the court system due to child abuse and neglect, having worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for 23 years after helping to start the Louisville chapter of CASA. Bruce was nationally recognized for his service to CASA in 2007. Bruce was also appointed as a parent’s attorney in cases involving dependency, abuse and neglect issues and served in that capacity in Jefferson County Family Court for 5 years. Now, much of Bruce’s practice focuses on assisting families through divorce, custody, paternity and other family court matters with compassion and dedication.
Bruce also focuses his practice in the areas of criminal defense and plaintiff’s personal injury, where he has been zealously fighting for fairness and justice for his clients for over 40 years.
Bruce is married with two grown sons and two grandchildren. He is a dedicated family man and an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan.

Meagan Wolfe is a Southern Indiana transplant who relocated to Indiana in 1998 from Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Having spent most of her life in Indiana, she considers herself a Hoosier at heart. Meagan pursued a Grenadier degree from Indiana University Southeast where she studied Criminology and Psychology. Her degrees from IUS prepared her for her Law Degree from Ohio Northern University Claude Pettit College of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of the Ohio Northern Law Review, member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, and served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association.
After being admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2017, Meagan joined Bruce Prizant at Prizant Law Office as a partner where she focuses mainly on plaintiff’s personal injury, family law, simple estate planning and general civil litigation. When Meagan is not practicing law or volunteering her time to her alma mater or church, she enjoys hiking local trails, exploring regional vineyards and spending time with her friends and family.
